Joining the NSU IT Service Desk's Zoom Meeting

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NSU IT Service Desk is going remote until further notice. Our phone numbers for all three campuses will not be answered for the time being and our hours have been adjusted to 8am-5pm until further notice.

The NSU IT Service Desk can be contacted by submitting a ticket through the NSU IT Client Portal, emailing help@nsuok.edu, or by joining in our Zoom room session where we can troubleshoot verbally. Here are a few options on how to join the Zoom session to troubleshoot. The Zoom meeting ID is 181-149-894.

Join through the link provided

1. You can join our Zoom session by clicking on the link provided here: https://nsuok.zoom.us/j/181149894
2. If you do not have Zoom downloaded, it will automatically direct you to Zoom website and download the Zoom Client. If you encounter any issues downloading Zoom, please refer to our KBA on downloading the Zoom Client here.
3. You should automatically join the Zoom session and be placed in the waiting room. You'll be brought into the main Zoom session and transferred over to a technician for assistance

Join through your Zoom Client

1. You can utilize the Zoom Client directly to join our meeting. If you do not currently have the Zoom Client installed, you can utilize this knowledge base article to do so.
2. You can join through your Zoom Client by opening up the Zoom application and selecting 'Join Meeting' and inputting the Zoom Meeting ID 181-149-894.
3. Once this has been inputted, you'll join the Zoom session automatically and be placed in the waiting room.

Join by using the application on iOS or Android

1. You can download an application for Zoom on iOS and Android that functions similarly to the regular client. You can find a little more information on Zoom's website here regarding the application. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-Meeting
2. Once you've downloaded the application, you can select 'Join a Meeting' and input the Meeting ID 181-149-894 to join the Zoom session. Alternatively, you can sign in with your NSU credentials and join the Zoom meeting after logging in.

Join by phone call

1. You can join our Zoom session by calling 1-346-248-7799
2. When prompted to enter a Zoom meeting ID, you can enter in 181-149-894# for this field.
3. When asked for a Participant ID, you can enter in # to skip this section and join the Zoom meeting.
4. Once you are in the Zoom meeting, you will be informed so on the phone call and placed in the waiting room.
