Facilitation Etiquette

Facilitation Etiquette

Etiquette

  1. No food or drink will be allowed in the classroom that is being facilitated.
  2. Be polite and respectful when addressing professors, as you represent the NSU IT Service Desk as a whole.
  3. Only NSU IT personnel are allowed on facilitation.

Procedures

  1. Power on and launch Zoom from the instructor's computer. Have a student or the professor sign into the computer. DO NOT use your credentials to sign in since the class will continue after you have left.
  2. Power on the projector, TVs (if any are available), and cameras in the classroom.
  3. Verify that the sound and video are functional for all the cameras and sound systems.
    1. If there is any trouble with this process, check the input and output of the video or sound to make sure they are set to the proper settings.
  4. If you are still experiencing issues after performing basic troubleshooting, contact the Emergency Facilitation Number.
