Google Chrome
1) With the user logged in, and Google Chrome open, click the settings button in the upper right corner of the Chrome window.
2) Hover over Bookmarks, and when the submenu appears select Bookmark Manager.
3) In the Bookmarks Manager, click Organize in the upper right, and select Export Bookmarks to HTML file in dropdown menu.
4) Name the file and save it to your L drive.
5) To import, go the Bookmark Manager again, click Organize, and then Import bookmarks from HTML file.
6) Select the file from the L drive and click open.
Mozilla Firefox
1) With the user logged in, and Mozilla Firefox open, click the Bookmarks button and click show all bookmarks.
2) Click Import and Backup, and then select Export Bookmarks to HTML from the dropdown menu.
3) Name the file and save it to your L drive.
4) To import, open the Bookmark Library as before.
5) Click Import and Backup, and select Import Bookmarks from HTML from the dropdown menu.
6) Select the file from the L drive and click open.
Internet Explorer
1) With the user logged in, and Internet Explorer open, press the Alt key to show the menu bar.
2) In the Menu bar click File, and select Import and Export.
3) In the Import/Export window, click the Export to a file radial button, and click Next.
4) Click the Favorites check box, and click next.
5) Highlight the top level Favorites folder, and click next.
6) Click the Browse, then name the file and save it to the users L drive by click the Export button, then the Finish button.
7) To import open the Import/Export window as before.
8) Click the Import from a file radial button, and click Next.
9) Click the Favorites check box, and click Next.
10) Click Browse, then navigate to where the favorites file is located, and click Open.
11) Click Next. Select Favorites, and click Import. Click Finish.
Microsoft Edge
1) With the user logged in, and Microsoft Edge open, click the Settings button then Settings.
2) In the menu, click Import from another browser.
3) Under Import or export a file click Export to file.
4) Name the file and save it to the L drive.
5) To import, navigate to the same menu as before and click Import from file.
6) Find the file and click the Open button.
Safari
1) Choose File > Export Bookmarks. The exported file is called “Safari Bookmarks.html.”
2) To import, choose File > Import From > Bookmarks HTML File, then select the file you want to import.
