Changing Your NSU Password

Note: Password Manager will change your NSU password for Blackboard, goNSU, and GreenMail

 

Resetting Your Password

1) To reset your NSU password, navigate to the Password Manager website. The direct url is password.nsuok.edu

  • We recommend resetting your password if it does not work, you believe your NSU account may have been compromised, or you have forgotten your password

2) Enter your BannerID as N00, then enter your Date of Birth as MMDDYY, and capitalize the first letter of your last name

3) Please check the I'm not a robot box and then click Next and answer your secret question(s)

4) If you are unable to answer your Secret Question please call the IT Service Desk T 918-444-5678 for further assistance

 

For Employees

Do not create a password with the following special characters if you use Banner 8, @ $ & " ( ) , < > ` ; = # blank_space


For Students

Password Manager will change your Microsoft Office 365 password


For Employees and Students 

Your NSU Password must be between 12-30 characters in length. Your password can not contain more than two consecutive letters of your Full Name and NSU Username. Your password must meet three of the four following rules: 

  • Contain a lowercase letter
  • Contain an uppercase letter
  • Contain a number
  • Contain a special character ~!#$%^&*()_+=-?><

You can not use any previous password you have used

4) Create a new password and confirm that you have entered it in correctly

Your password should have at least 3 of the four items listed above. If they are green, your password has included that item

5) Selecting the Next > icon will take you to the Password Manager home page if your password has been successfully changed
