NSU Account Retention Policy

Students

• Students may keep their email for two (2) years beyond their graduation date or two (2) years past last enrollment
• To retain access to an NSU email account, we recommend requesting a lifetime NSU alumni account by contacting the NSU Alumni Association at 918-444-4200, or by emailing alumni@nsuok.edu
• At any time within 2 years of the last date of their enrollment, students may migrate their data to a personal Google account or a lifetime Alumni account by using Google Takeout. More information can be found in the following KBA:

Faculty/Staff

• Email is deactivated at end of employment with the exception of retirees who may keep their email
• NSU does not permit the migration of employee data to an external account
• Accounts that do not meet the above criteria will be deactivated

• To retain access to an email account with NSU branding, we recommend requesting a lifetime NSU alumni account by contacting the NSU Alumni Association at 918-444-4200, or by emailing alumni@nsuok.edu

Retirees

• Retired employees retain email-only access to their Greenmail accounts
• NSU does not permit the migration of retiree data to an external account
• Lifetime retiree emails will be deactivated if NSU is informed of the passing away of the account holder
