NSU Email Account Retention Policy

Students

• Students may keep their email for two (2) years beyond their graduation date or two (2) years past last enrollment
• To retain access to a NSU email account, we recommend requesting a NSU alumni account by contacting the NSU Alumni Association at 918-444-4200, or by emailing alumni@nsuok.edu
• At any time within 2 years of the last date of their enrollment, students may migrate their data to a personal Google account or an Alumni account by using Google Takeout. Faculty/Staff

• Email is deactivated at end of employment, and for retirement, Retirees may request a retiree account at the following link: https://nsuok.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/2026/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=39351&SIDs=4833
• NSU does not permit the migration of employee data to an external account
• To retain access to a NSU email account, we recommend requesting a NSU alumni account by contacting the NSU Alumni Association at 918-444-4200, or by emailing alumni@nsuok.edu

Retirees

• Retirees may request a retiree account under "@retiree.nsuok.edu" (with either their NSU username, or firstname.lastname format) at the following link: https://nsuok.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/2026/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=39351&SIDs=4833
• Eligibility for a retiree email address requires a minimum of five (5) years of service and is subject to approval by Human Resources.
• NSU does not permit the migration of retiree data to an external account
• Retiree emails will be deactivated if NSU is informed of the passing away of the account holder or if the account has not been accessed in two (2) years
