Before You Begin

Before you start the process, make sure you have the following information:

  • Your NSU Username (exampl22)

If you do not have access to this information, please contact the NSU IT Service Desk at 918.444.5678 or via email at help@nsuok.edu.

Additionally, you will need a personal email address (Non-NSU) to use for Multi-Factor Authentication. If you do not have a personal email address, you may create one at mail.google.com.

You may also need a phone to set up Multi-Factor Authentication.

From there you will be directed to enter your first name, last name, Banner N number, and username.

If you get the following error screen:

Please follow the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Please make sure you capitalise your first and last name.
  • When entering your username, do not include '@nsuok.edu'.
  • If going through FTU on a phone, make sure there are no spaces entered each entry.
  • If you have changed your name any time since joining NSU, please try all last names you have had while at NSU.

If you are still seeing this error, and you are sure your information is correct, please wait a few minutes and try again. Our server may be overloaded with password change requests.

If you have tried several times, and you are still unable to reset your password, please contact the NSU IT Service Desk at 918.444.5678 or via email at help@nsuok.edu.
